BIO:

Formed in 2008, DERAILED hail from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The band consists of Random Damage guitarist DEAN BOLAND, Vocalist JOHNIE SINCLAIR, drummer TERRY CORNELSON and bassist STEVE LEGAULT. Band influences include Black Sabbath, Rush, Thin Lizzy, King’s X, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica & Megadeth to name a few. Songwriter & Producer Dean Boland, whose previous projects include Random Damage, Aragathor, Vicious Circle, Doomsayer & Boland Plan, is an experienced musician who has enjoyed international success.

DERAILED’s music style is reminiscent of their pioneer heros… heavy cutting edge guitars, a driving bottom end & intricate, aggressive drum fills. This amalgamation captures the hard rock/metal sound of their peers, but with a modern day attack!
Lyrical content deals with everyday life, spanning topics of dreams, hardship, reality & war, blended into melodic fist pumping aggression. The high energy is evident in their sound & you soon find yourself caught up in the moment.

The bands debut CD "Judgement Day" was mastered & mixed in Vancouver, BC by Vic Levak at HUSH SOUND. After 13 months of recording & mixing, It is finally scheduled for a 2010 late spring release. Already getting ‘rave’ reviews, 2010 could be the break-out year for DERAILED. All seasoned musicians, they have begun live rehearsals in their studio to prepare for their CD support tour which will follow their release date. Witnessing DERAILED “live” will be a spectacle in itself.  High energy  execution intertwined with theatrics will leave you wanting more.
